There's no need to make your upcoming home inspection any more difficult than it has to be. You can conduct your own preliminary "10-Minute Walkthrough" using our handy guide as a starting point, or simply recall a few guidelines, such as:
Check that all sinks, toilets, faucets, and smoke detectors are working properly and are not leaking or malfunctioning.
Clear any debris from the exterior of the home, and make sure access points to appliances (especially water heaters and septic tanks) are freely accessible.
